Partridge Tree Lane isn’t a physical location, rather, it is the sense of home we found in each other one winter night in 2002 when we were partnered for a rendition of The 12 Days of Christmas. From that moment onwards home was always the place that we were together, whether a college dorm, a vacation thousands of miles away, or our first place together.
As DIY enthusiasts, we love to make our surroundings reflect our personalities, interests, and love for each other. In our first home we tackled a complete kitchen remodel, poured through dozens of gallons of paints, sought out functional and meaningful furnishings, and learned dozens of tricks to make our place look spotless with minimal effort.
After hundreds of conversations that started with “remember when _____ used to look like _____?”, we realized we needed to begin documenting our home renovating journey and this blog was born. As we begin a new journey on our second home, we are excited to start fresh and apply all the knowledge we’ve learned.
Outside of this blog, there isn’t much we don’t do. After a self-imposed year of “yes”, we’ve learned that not only are we willing to try anything, but sometimes we’re pretty good at it.
